How to Clear Pesticide Flag in Amazon Seller Central?

Let me guess… You sell children’s wooden toys and your product got flagged by Amazon as a pesticide?   Ridiculous right?  This is happening all the time to many, many sellers who sell 100% natural products.

Rest assured, I’ve got the solution to removing this ridiculous product selling suspension right here in post.  So you can scroll down and find the procedures… but I would encourage you to read and understand why it’s happening to avoid in the future.   Just makes like easier.

I’m going to assume your product is in fact safe and natural.  If you have pesticides in your product, this ain’t gonna help you.   Products with real pesticides require permission.   See Amazon’s policy on selling products with pesticides.

Here is why you likely got flagged as a pesticide: (Excerpt from the Amazon policy linked above).

“Pesticide products that make false or misleading claims or are otherwise misbranded (for example, claims regarding the safety of the pesticide or its ingredients, such as “safe”, “non-poisonous”, “non-injurious”, “harmless”, “non-toxic”, or “all natural”)”

So… if you say your 100% natural wooden toy is “non-toxic”… boom…. you get flagged.   Crazy right?

Read that policy link above if you want a better understanding.

Let’s switch our attention to passing the course and requesting approval to sell your product.
